Getting ready for our June to August refit

To get us ready for our refit June to August, and allow time to clear all orders here is our timetable for last orders on corals. - James

Timetable for last orders:

LPS corals - order by 11:59pm Monday 5th May
SPS corals - order by 11:59pm Monday 12th May
Soft corals and last orders on all items - order by 11:59pm Monday 19th May

Current and new orders

All current and new orders will be completed this month.

1st June to 25th August

From 1st June to 25th August we will be refitting the shop, and I’ll also be going away on 3 trips abroad.

US - wholesalers, shops, and a public aquarium.
Thailand - Guppy farms and Siamese fighter breeders.
Peru - Fish collecting in Peru!

I’ll be doing lots of live videos while away so you can see what I’m doing each day, and then when I’m back I’ll also be putting out some edited videos of each trip too. I’m mega excited!

Also from 1st June to 25th August we’ll be refitting the shop, and it’s going to look quite different to now, and (hopefully) far better too! I am doing something truly unique that will make the shop look even more different to any other UK aquatic shop.

We’ll still be doing some opening by appointment only during this time too. We start stopping taking web orders on LPS today, SPS cut off is next week, and Monday 19th May will be the last day for web orders until I bring the web back online (also in a new format) on 25th August.

As well as making quite extensive changes in store, there will also be a huge overhaul of how we do online orders. From 25th August most online orders will be taken by live video call by appointment, and you will be able to choose the corals live on video link, and I’m going to pack them as I pick them!

I’m also switching the main focus of the business from online sales to mostly in store sales, and open by appointment only the same as now.

Big changes coming up from the end of this month! I can’t wait!
